Canberra para sport athlete of the year Emily Tapp will get an early look at the Tokyo Paralympics course at this weekend's paratriathlon world cup.
Tapp is part of a seven-person heading to Japan for the world cup as she looks to earn selection for her first Paralympics.
Tapp won the silver medal in the PTWC class at last year's Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast.
She's coming off her win in the World Paratriathlon Series event in Montreal in June.
Tapp will be up against Great Britain's gold medallist Jade Hall in Japan, as well as fellow Australian Lauren Parker.
