Milward will come off the bench and is part of three changes made to the squad by head coach Dwayne Nestor and will replace lock Rebecca Clough.
She said it was disappointing to miss out on the first Test but is ready to prove herself this time.
"It has been a tough couple of weeks in camp working my way back into the squad," Milward said.
"I can't wait to get out there and rip in with the girls."
The Wallaroos will be hoping to bounce back after last weeks disappointing 47-10 loss at Optus Stadium in Perth.
New Zealand have won 18 straight against the Wallaroos and they're heading to one of the most feared venues in world rugby but Milward is relishing the opportunity.
"It's a great stadium for rugby, it has a lot of history within the rugby world," she said.
"The atmosphere is electric, it's sold out again this weekend so it will be amazing to play in front of the Black Ferns supporters but hopefully there a few gold jerseys."
The challenge has been set by the world No.1 Black Ferns but Milwald says the squad is ready for the battle.
"We've had a tough week of honest preparation with ourselves and doing a lot of analysis with the coaches and really fixed up the things we were lacking in the first test," she said.
"I feel everyone has come a long way and everyone is willing to put in the hard yards."
The Wallaroo with eight test matches under her belt will join former ACT Brumbies player, vice-captain Millie Brown and her Tuggeranong Vikings teammate Michaela Leonard for the clash.
"It's nice to be able to run out with Michaela and hopefully we get onto the field at the same time at some point during the match," Milward said.
