You would have forgiven Goulburn Bulldogs flyer Steven Cummins for thinking the chance to be the Canberra Raiders Cup's top try scorer had passed him by.

Few could have imagined he would score four tries on the final day of the regular season to claim top spot in his rookie season.
The Bulldogs ran in a staggering 15 tries in an 80-0 thrashing of the Gungahlin Bulls at Goulburn Arena on Sunday.
Cummins and Goulburn playmaker Mitch Cornish scored eight tries between them as the club celebrated the anniversary of its 2009 premiership in style.
"It's a wonderful achievement for a young fella from Crookwell who was playing George Tooke Shield last season," Goulburn coach Adam Kyle said.
"That's the second time this season he has scored four tries in a game.
"He's had a wonderful season and I am really happy for him that he has found a home at Goulburn and he is certainly really enjoying playing alongside the Cornish brothers."

Cummins finishes the regular season with 19 tries while Cornish's effort lifts him to equal second with 18, level with Kaine Pagura of the Queanbeyan Kangaroos.
It was an "incredible" day out - especially considering Goulburn were "pretty ordinary" in the opening 15 minutes.
The win lifts Goulburn to third and sets up a sudden death minor semi-final against the Queanbeyan Kangaroos on the Bulldogs' turf this week.
"We've only lost one game at home this season and that was to Tuggeranong in the last 30 seconds when they scored a try. Our home record has been really good," Kyle said.
"That was a pre-season goal we set, to win every game at home, and while we haven't quite got there we have been about 30 seconds away from it.
"We're really confident going into next weekend, but again, Queanbeyan are a great side. Aaron Gorrell is into his 10th year and I think they have made the playoffs every year.
"We're going to have to make sure we turn up ready."
The minor premiership-winning Queanbeyan Blues will meet the Tuggeranong Bushrangers for the second time in as many weeks in the major semi-final.
"Pretty much the whole top four have beaten each other throughout the season. I'm expecting a really good finals series," Kyle said.
"I don't think it will be overly close, every side in the top four likes to attack, and I don't think there will be a lot of low scorelines. I think it will be high scoring.
"Hopefully Goulburn come out on top."
There would be no better way to mark the 10-year anniversary of their most recent Canberra Raiders Cup title.
It might even be enough for veterans Mick Dodson and Shane McCallum to sign off - but Kyle would love to have the two men in their 40s go around again.
