Arthritis ACT is Canberra's leading provider of hydrotherapy at locations across Canberra.
Therapeutic hydrotherapy is undertaken in a pool that is around 34 degrees. It seeks to provide pain relief as well as being a location for exercise that increases joint stability, muscle exercise and brings with it a social connection with all the others who are with you that are also aiming to improve their health and wellbeing.
Arthritis ACT continues to work with the ACT Government to ensure a continued hydrotherapy service in Canberra's south and provides locations in Canberra's north as well.

Arthritis ACT provides instructor lead classes as well as independent classes.
They are pleased to announce that their new classes at Calwell are available for parents who live with chronic pain conditions to undertake gentle classes with or without their children. Children of any age are welcome with one to one parental support.
Arthritis ACT has an extensive program of supports for people living with all kinds of pain and/or musculoskeletal disabilities. They can also assist carers.
Supports include support groups, peer mentors for both carers and people living with pain/musculoskeletal disability, activity groups, and of course their large range of exercise and allied health programs.
Arthritis ACT's allied health professionals include physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, dietitian, counsellor, occupational therapist and nurses. Most importantly all their staff are competent in working with people with complex needs and carers of people with complex needs.
