The Green Machine second-rower was devastated when a dirty thief pinched his old one in broad daylight back in April.
But he had a massive smile on his face on his 30th birthday after his teammates surprised him at their team meeting on Wednesday morning.
With defence the mantra of the Raiders' high-flying 2019 campaign, the players went one step further to ensure Whitehead didn't lose his present the same way - giving him a lock to go with it.
The massive boost comes just days before the England international plays his 98th NRL game since joining Canberra ahead of the 2016 season.
The Raiders are looking to lock up third spot on the ladder with a win over the New Zealand Warriors at Canberra Stadium on Saturday in the final round.
"Here's another one mate. It cost a bit, but we thought you deserved it," Raiders co-captain Josh Hodgson said as he handed across the box containing the lock.
It prompted five-eighth Jack Wighton to give Whitehead some sage advice: "Lock it up!"
Whitehead lost the bike when a thief picked it up and put it in the back of a white ute earlier in the season.
CCTV footage showed the second-rower managed to run out in time to grab it, but he couldn't lift it out of the back before the thieves sped off.
