To do that they're looking into the possibility of installing temporary seating for their historic preliminary final in the hope of breaking their own attendance record at Canberra Stadium.
They'll play the winner of the South Sydney-Manly semi-final on Friday week, with a win sending them to the grand final for the first time since 1994.
It will be the first time the Green Machine will host a preliminary final after the NRL changed the rules this year.
Previously they had to play their home prelims in Sydney.
It's put the crosshairs on their own Canberra Stadium attendance record.
That's the 26,476 that attended their semi-final against the Wests Tigers back in 2010.
Canberra Stadium's overall attendance record is 28,753 - the ACT Brumbies' Super Rugby grand final win over the Canterbury Crusaders in 2004.
Given their attendances from the last time they were in the finals, the Raiders have already floated the idea of expanding the stadium's capacity.
In 2016, they increased the number of standing-room tickets, but this year they hope to go even further.
Three years ago they crammed in 25,592 for their qualifying final against the Cronulla Sharks, with this year's prelim expected to be even bigger.
"I'm starting with the NRL and the stadium on that. I tossed it up to them last week," Raiders marketing manager Jason Mathie said.
"In '16 they sold additional standing room seats. That has been done in the past and it's definitely a provision for this year.
"I also suggested why don't you look at temporary bleachers and temporary seating. I've put it on their radar."

It's yet to be decided when tickets for the preliminary final will go on sale.
Normally members tickets would go on sale on the Monday before the game, with it open to the general public the following day.
But the Raiders will also investigate the possibility of opening it up to their members earlier if possible.
Both that and the extra seating is in the hands of the NRL.
They've given the Green Machine the all clear to do the Viking clap pre-game, with former Canberra captain Dean Lance set to lead it.
Current Raiders co-captain Jarrod Croker said the Viking clap in the finals three years ago had blown him away so he backed plans to have an even bigger one.
That was the Viking clap's first finals campaign, having been introduced by the Raiders in the weeks leading up to the finals.
Croker will be on the hunt for tickets for his legion of friends and family from his home town of Goulburn.
"They'll be hanging from the rafters. It will be exciting," Croker said.
"I know myself I'll have to go and buy Goulburn's tickets.
"If they can manage to fit more people in there the more the better.
"The Viking clap in 2016 - I nearly blacked out it was so exciting.
"If you can manage to fit more people there, the more the merrier."
