Abominable (G)
This is a co-production by DreamWorks in the US and Chinese production company Pearl Studio. It's a CGI animated tale in which teenager Yi (voiced by Chloe Bennet) meets a young Yeti on the roof of her Shanghai apartment. She and her friends Jin (Tenzing Norgay Trainor) and Peng (Albert Tsai) name him "Everest" and set off to take him back to his family in the Himalayas. But they are being pursued by the wealthy Burnish (Eddie Izzard) and his zoologist Dr. Zara (Sarah Paulson).
Ad Astra (M)
Astronaut Roy McBride (Brad Pitt) goes on a long space journey in search of his long-lost father whose experiment has threatened the solar system.
Dora & the Lost City of Gold (PG)
In this live action movie based on the animated series, teenage explorer Dora (Isabela Moner) is sent by her parents from Peru to attend high school in Los Angeles while they go on a dangerous mission to find the Lost City of Gold. No prizes for guessing Dora eventually goes in search of them.
Good Boys (MA)
Three sixth-grade friends - Lucas, Thor and Max - ditch school and have adventures involving a drone, drugs and teenage girls while each dealing with personal issues. This comedy is not a kids' film.
Rambo V: Last Blood (MA)
John Rambo (Sylvester Stallone) goes up against a Mexican cartel to save his niece. Will this be the last film in the series? Only poor box office can kill Rambo.
