APT have in recent years turned to new frontiers of Australian small-ship cruising.
Last year they proudly unveiled a new destination, the Arnhem Land coast, to compliment the ever-popular Kimberley Coast Cruising program.
"There is something special about the Kimberley and Arnhem Land coastlines. Their vastness and isolation are part of the appeal," the team at APT says.
"With more than 40 years' experience in the region, you can navigate these special places in complete comfort with APT," they added confidently.
Grand Kimberly Coast
"With epic cascades, fascinating reefs and gorges carved by powerful rivers, the Kimberley Coast is simply spectacular."
From natural wonders to ancient Indigenous rock art, gain a front-row seat to the region's most amazing sights.
"Be guided by your expedition leader and team as you explore the phenomenal Montgomery Reef and admire vibrant marine life during an incredible cruising experience."
There are a number of itineraries available from APT.
One of these is their 10-day Grand Kimberly Coast where you travel from Kununurra to Broome, or start in Broome and head to Kunnunurra.
In either direction, highlights include the Montgomery Reef where you can witness the tidal phenomenon of the reef appearing to rise out of the water, boarding a high-powered fast-boat to ride the massive tide at the spectacular Horizontal Falls, and explore the sandstone gorge carved by King George River to the 80 metre cascade of King George Falls, the highest in WA.
On this particular adventure you will experience 16 destinations.
Your 26 included meals will be locally-inspired dining, and there is an expert 10-member team leading the various expeditions undertaken through the journey.

Small-ship cruising
For the ultimate Kimberley Coast experience - or any of their other Australian adventures - it's hard to go past the MS Caledonian Sky.
Carrying up to 110 guests and an expedition team of 10 members, it offers the most in-depth discovery on a true expedition ship, with a blend of sightseeing and lifestyle cruising.
As an all-inclusive experience, delicious meals are included on board, accompanied by wine, beer, spirits, soft drinks, juices, tea and coffee at your discretion.
APT, in partnership with Noble Caledonia, own and operate the MS Caledonian Sky and MS Island Sky expedition ships.
In 2019, APT has been operating both ships on the Kimberley Coast, while the MS Caledonian Sky has also been cruising the Arnhem Land coast.
The distinct advantage these smaller vessels have is that you will be able to venture where larger ships cannot.
At the same time, you're enjoying elegant surrounds and in a more intimate atmosphere than larger ocean cruising vessels.
"We won't just take you there, we'll immerse you in the wonders of each and every place you visit," says owner of APT, Geoff McGeary OAM.
