Players were mobbed by fans and families packed into the change rooms for one of the most satisfying wins in the past 30 years.
The Raiders will play either the Sydney Roosters or Melbourne Storm in the decider. Here's what the players had to say after full-time.
JARROD CROKER
"I love the way Canberra turns everything green, we're going to enjoy this week. We have to enjoy it, there's no point if you don't.
"It's amazing feeling when the city gets behind you like that. But it was the same this week, the boys embraced it away from training and then focused when we had to.
"That's the best way to do it. I've always had belief in this side and I can't wait for next week."
CHARNZE NICOLL-KLOKSTAD
"You can't describe a moment like this. We can definitely do it, 100 per cent we can.
"I don't get into the build up much, but I've seen people saying the Raiders are this or that.
"It's not about what they think. It's about what we think and we've got great players from 1-35 in our squad who really believe we can do this.
We'll fix up some things we can improve."
JOSH PAPALII
"I've never been to a grand final myself. To finally get the chance is pretty surreal. We're going to celebrate this win but when next week comes around.
"We will enjoy the week and prepare for what's next because whether it's the Storm or the Roosters, it's going to be a tough one. I want to enjoy the week."
JACK WIGHTON
"To be honest I really don't know how to feel. It's a great feeling, but I don't think it's sunk in just yet. The job's not done, but I've got to enjoy this type of feeling. We work hard to be in a position like this."
JOHN BATEMAN
"I wish it were as easy as that mate. It's been a tough journey for us, but we're there now and that's what we spoke about."
EMRE GULER
"It hasn't even sunk in yet. I still don't feel like it's real.
"If we win it, I'll be happy but for now I'm just worried about doing everything right for this week.
"I've had an attitude where I've got to do my best every day at training and be ready for the opportunity if it arises.
"It's paid off, hopefully I get to play in a grand final next week."
ELLIOTT WHITEHEAD
"It takes a lot to get to a grand final, and to do it with these boys is special. We've got a special bond.
"We showed tonight what camaraderie we've got and how hard we want to work."
