Two men have been arrested after allegedly kidnapping a man and assaulting him for several hours inside a Gungahlin home.
Police allege the men, a 26-year-old and a 29-year-old, trapped another man inside a home in Moncrieff on Wednesday at 7.40am.
It's alleged the pair assaulted the man and threatened him for several hours before he was released.
An ACT police spokesman said officers carried out a search of the Moncrieff home on Friday.
Police arrested the 26-year-old on Saturday, and the 29-year-old was arrested the following day.
The pair were both charged with kidnapping a person who suffered grievous bodily harm.
Both men will face ACT Magistrates Court on Monday.
Police will oppose bail.
