WNBL officials have finalised a television arrangement on the eve of the season, with plans to have every game live on either Fox Sports or streamed on the competition's website.
It's a major boost for female basketball after falling behind other sports after a boom in popularity.
The AFL, rugby league, rugby union and cricket have launched a major push into the women's sport market in recent years, but the WNBL is about to start its 40th season.
"It's the first time in WNBL history that all games will be live streamed, which is great for our sport," said Capitals coach Paul Goriss.
"I think that's the next move for women's basketball and the WNBL - to have games live in some format.
"Whether it's TV or live streaming. This league is getting better and better with the calibre of players who are coming out and playing every year. I think the girls deserve that recognition so the fans can see every game."
The Capitals are hoping to attract a bumper crowd to their season-opener against Adelaide on Sunday.
Capitals returned to the finals for the first time in eight years last season, increasing average crowds and attracting almost 5000 fans to their grand final decider against Adelaide.
