Government House opened to the public and offered visitors an opportunity to explore the official residence of the Governor-General, take a tour through the gardens, meet the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley and learn about the work of the charities and community groups that they are patrons of. Families were able to spread out a picnic blanket and enjoy the beautiful surrounds. The free event is always popular and a great way to see behind the scenes.
