To wrap up a great year to date, this November and December, Proximity will donate five per cent of revenue from all new legal advisory business to this great cause.
Menslink supports hundreds of young men and boys in the Canberra region who are facing real difficulties due to drugs, alcohol, bullying, or a challenging life at home.
The Proximity Community Pledge is open to both existing and new clients, who will be given the option to 'opt in' to this initiative to provide their support to Menslink.
The initiative is believed to be the first of its kind from a Canberra advisory business.

"The Proximity Community Pledge is another way of us giving back. It's also an opportunity for our clients to play a part in supporting a great cause, at a time of year when there is so much strain on our local charities," Proximity senior advisor, Paula Gonzalez said.
Proximity is a leading provider of legal, commercial and governance solutions. They provide high quality services to both public and private sector clients, with a particular focus on government and regulated industry sectors.
The innovative organisation pushes the boundaries in service delivery, business management and staff engagement and has advised on some of the most complex and high-profile projects in Australia.
"Our multi-disciplinary team includes highly experienced specialists across legal, information technology, procurement and consulting," Paula said. "Our advisors are hand-picked based on having the right attributes to work successfully with our clients."
Proximity works with a wide variety of clients, principally in the Commonwealth Government and the Territory Government, through a range of delivery methods; advisory, onsite and products. Proximity is building a strong reputation for solving complex problems where legal issues intersect with commercial or governance issues.
Proximity suggests that now is a good opportunity to reach out for legal advisory services that might help to finalise matters or close off projects in the busy period leading up to Christmas and the new year. It might also be a good time to update delegations and finalise procurements or contract arrangements.
"Opting in to our Community Pledge is a bonus for our clients who can help make a positive difference," Paula said.
From its foundation, Proximity has had a strong commitment to the local community with a dedicated corporate social responsibility program and innovative pro bono practice.
Their current community partners are Menslink, who they have supported since Proximity was created eight years ago, and The Farm in Galong, a post drug rehabilitation facility for women which provides care and services to reduce recidivism.
