So it's fitting the opening line of his walkout song - Tones And I's Dance Monkey - ends with the words "I see the way you shine".
Maybe it's the clean cut look, the incredible amateur background or the hype about his future in boxing.
Whichever way you go, Cooper's mere presence is enough to send the crowd into a spin to leave one thought running through his head: "I could get used to that."
Soon enough he will as Australian boxing enters a new era under the guidance of leading promoter Dean Lonergan in the National Boxing Series.
Cooper moved to 2-0 with a fourth-round stoppage win over Ryan Cotten (3-5-2) at Capital Fight Show 18 at the Hellenic Club of Canberra on Friday night.
But the performance of the night belonged to newly-crowned ANBF NSW welterweight champion Jorge Kapeen (2-0) after he earned a round four TKO win over Dillon Bargero (5-10).
MORE BOXING
Both may feature live on Fox Sports next year after Lonergan struck a deal with Capital Fight Show promoter Nick Boutzos to bring an NBS event to Canberra.
Canberra is set to host round six of the NBS in June with world-ranked super bantamweight Brock Jarvis (17-0) and cruiserweight Jai Opetaia (18-0) looming as potential headliners in their journey to a world championship shot.
Lonergan is determined to bring big fights to the capital and unearth a hidden gem that has the potential to do be a global star.
Cooper knows he has a long road ahead, but the rising super welterweight will leave no stone unturned in a bid to make himself that star.
"That's massive, especially to get that sort of exposure in Canberra," Cooper said.
"It's huge, it's going to be excellent. I'm looking forward to next year, hopefully I can get some belts and go from there.
"I've timed it perfectly, really. I'm ready for whatever, I'll stay ready. If there is a fight before the new year, I'll fight. I'm ready to fight whenever."
A headbutt inadvertently opened up a small cut above Cooper's right eye early in his bout with Cotten.
But that was never going to bother the 23-year-old with coach Jamie Pittman's message ringing in his ears: no matter what happens, we stay calm.
"I looked at him and he was calm, so I was calm. It goes down the chain from the top," Cooper said.
"[The fight] was very awkward. I expected it to be awkward, we've seen him fight before. It was good to get some rounds out really, I haven't done more than a round since November last year.
"I knew he was just going to be a rough journeyman. He kept falling on me. Everything went to plan, we were prepared for that.
"I knew as soon as I got some hands on him, I would be able to sink him pretty quickly. It was that little uppercut, we planned that the whole time.
Cooper added to a huge night for the house fighters with all six coming away victorious - five via stoppages.
Kapeen pocketed a $1000 bonus for the performance of the night - but it was the first embrace with his wife Julie and their baby boy that means many than any paycheck or shiny championship belt.
The 30-year-old says his biggest goal in life was to be a father. Now he's done that, he wants to build a legacy his son can be proud of.
A comprehensive performance that left Bargero unable to answer the bell for the fifth round suggests Kapeen is doing just that.
While Kapeen claimed the boxer of the night award, it was heavy-handed heavyweight Arsene Fosso who claimed the $1000 knockout of the night bonus.
Fosso made light work of previously unbeaten opponent Jacob Snowden with the referee waving off the bout after 56 seconds.
