Thrice-capped Matilda Karly Roestbakken suffered a broken nose in their 2-0 win over Perth Glory, putting her availability in doubt for Canberra's second-round match.
The 18-year-old midfielder was substituted in the 73rd minute, clutching her nose as she came off the field.
Roestbakken will be assessed by doctors throughout the week before a decision is made on her availability.
Ashlie Crofts or Emma Stanbury, who replaced Roestbakken late in the second half, could earn a starting spot if the injured Matilda is ruled out of their round-two clash.

The reshuffle could also give Taren King and Rebekah Horsey an opportunity to step onto the bench and bolster their midfield stocks.
The loss of their only Matilda would be a heavy blow for Heather Garriock's side, who are set to face a star-studded City outfit at McKellar Park on Sunday.
City boasts a strong contingent of international players including former Canberra defender Ellie Carpenter, Lydia Williams, Steph Catley, Emily van Egmond, Kyah Simon and Japanese midfielder Yukari Kinga.
Canberra will lean on the experience of former Matilda Leena Khamis through the middle, while Laura Hughes and Olivia Price test themselves against Catley and Kinga.
Price dominated the midfield in Canberra's opening match, making 30 passes, three tackles and won seven duels against Perth.
"Being a holding midfielder, she basically holds the team together," Garriock said.
"When she does things well and keeps things simple then the whole team circulates the ball really well.
"I feel like we started to complicate things [after scoring two goals], trying to go down the middle too much and trying to find too many combination players.
"Sometimes we need to be a little bit direct and hit that killer pass, that's what Olivia is good at. She's a really good player and needs to perform [against City] as well."
