Precise Custom Joinery were overwhelmed to take home two wins from two entries at the HIA-CSR ACT and Southern NSW 2019 Housing Awards.
The Queanbeyan based business won the categories - Renovated Kitchen over $30,001 as well as the Renovation/Addition Project up to $200,000.
"We were absolutely stoked and fairly surprised to take home both awards," owner of Precise Custom Joinery, Phil Nibbs said. "We are really grateful to everyone who contributed to these projects."
Phil said the kitchen that won them the award for Renovated Kitchen over $30,001 was probably one of the most challenging renovations they have done in the three short years they have been in business.
"We don't produce multiple projects a year but put our heart and soul into each individual job," he said.
"We enjoy seeing the end product as much as the clients do.
"At Precise Custom Joinery we have a great team of trades people from plumbers, tilers, electricians and designers that work directly with us and we couldn't put projects like this one together without them.
"It also makes all the difference when you have a great client that works with you."
The winner of the award for Renovation/Addition Project up to $200,000 was from a renovation at a house in Bruce.
"All of our trades were involved in this project with traditional solid timber floors through to a complete re-arrangement of the internal walls to form new bathrooms, laundry, kitchen, study and highlight windows," Phil said.
"We are very particular on each and every trade that we engage and the judges must have been impressed with all of the finishes.
"We pride ourselves on the ability to not only produce the highest quality joinery but to match it with our designers and trades to finish the project on time and on budget."
