Faingaa committed to a two-year contract extension on Thursday, giving the Brumbies and Wallabies front-row certainty in what will be a changing of the guard for both teams.
The 24-year-old burst on to the Super Rugby stage last year and was called into the Wallabies squad before he'd played a game for the Brumbies.
He was in Australia's World Cup squad, but played just one game in a three-way rotation with Tolu Latu and Jordan Uelese.
Latu's Australian rugby departure will open the door for Faingaa and Uelese to compete for the No. 2 spot, while his new deal also gives the Brumbies a formidable front-row for the next three years.
Faingaa, Scott Sio and Allan Alaalatoa have all signed long-term contracts. Sio re-signed has also re-signed until the end of 2022, while Alaalatoa will be in Canberra until after the next World Cup in 2023.
Tom Banks, Nic White, Pete Samu and Darcy Swain also have contracts until the end of 2022 as coach Dan McKellar rebuilds the core of his squad after the departure of several key figures.
"I am very happy to have been able to sign an early extension to my contract and am looking forward to achieving my rugby goals with both the Brumbies and the Wallabies," Faingaa said.
"It's great to have my immediate future sorted and we are all aiming to build on what was a successful 2019 season for the team.

"I love the culture and the environment at the Brumbies and am confident that we have a quality group of players here who can be very successful."
The Brumbies are also ushering the next generation of hookers to push Faingaa, with Connal McInerney working with Australian junior duo Lachlan Lonergan and Billy Pollard.
Lonergan played for the junior Wallabies this year while Australian schoolboy Pollard turned down the best teams in the NRL for a shot at a Super Rugby career.
Faingaa and McInerney played Australian under-20s together and reunited at the Brumbies. They will shoulder the bulk of the workload next season.
"We're all good mates [as hookers], I want to help the young guys and they can help me as well," McInerney said.
"It's good pressure to have. There's always going to be young guys coming through. Myself and Folau aren't even that old.
"[Lonergan and Pollard] are really talented players, they can do things I can't do. The young guys move like back-rowers, so can [Faingaa] as well. They're all talented, they've just got to work hard."
Faingaa and the Brumbies' World Cup contingent will return to training in January, giving them just a handful of weeks to prepare for the start of the Super Rugby season.
The Brumbies will use their established front-row combinations as a weapon next year as they rebuild the rest of their pack.
There will be a new second row pairing after Sam Carter and Rory Arnold left, while Tom Cusack, Jahrome Brown and Will Miller are battling to replace David Pocock in the No. 7 jersey.
