Curtis Scott has to learn everyone's name and how to share accommodation with school children before he can start thinking about what position he'll play to at his new NRL home.

And even though the former Melbourne Storm centre admits Canberra is one of the last places he expected to land, he says the Green Machine can give him the fresh start he needs.
Scott landed in Canberra and moved into a temporary home at the AIS on Monday before starting Raiders pre-season training on Tuesday as he takes the first steps of a four-year deal.
The 22-year-old was a surprise off-season recruit for the Raiders, bolstering the grand-finalist's back line after the departure of Jordan Rapana.
His arrival has cast doubt over the long-term future of Joey Leilua, but the pair could find themselves teaming up on the Raiders' right side when the 2020 season begins in March.
But in his first interview since leaving Mlebourne, Scott says his only focus is trying to bury the form and injury issues which plagued him this year and limited him to just nine games.
"I missed 12 or 14 weeks this year, it was a bit frustrating and then I got injured in the Prime Minister's game as well," Scott said.
"This is a fresh start for me. I'm looking forward to the future and I'm excited about it. It gets frustrating when you put your heart and soul into rugby league and then you get niggling injuries.

"...I'm not to sure where [I'll fit in]. I'm flat our remember everyone's names at the moment, so I haven't thought that far ahead.
"I'm just keen to get here, work hard and get stuck into the footy side of things.
"I obviously prefer centre and have played all my footy there, but it's whatever is best for the team. I'm not too sure what [Ricky Stuart's] plans are for my position in the team."
Scott comes to Canberra after four years at perhaps the best learning club in rugby league.
He has played with Billy Slater, Cooper Cronk and Cameron Smith under the guidance of Craig Bellamy, giving him a solid foundation to help take the Raiders to next level.
Scott is already an NRL premiership winner and made his Prime Minister's XIII debut this year.
His career seemed to flying at the Melbourne winning factory, playing 49 games in his first four years in first grade. But a desire to be closer to home in Sydney opened the door for the Raiders to swoop.
"I can't thank [the Storm] enough. I went down there as a kid, I was 17 and I learnt a heap training with Bill, Cooper, Smithy. I was fortunate to win a grand final and I've lost one.
"I feel like I've got a heap of experience playing and training with those guys week in and week out, if I can bring a little bit of that here and try to make this team better ... I'm excited by that."
Raiders players are filtering back to club headquarters to start their redemption mission after losing the grand final two months ago.
The youngest Raiders started training two weeks ago, another wave of players will arrive on Wednesday and the bulk of the squad will be back at training by December 16.
Scott adds another edge attacking weapon to the roster having signed a deal until 2023, although Rapana is still on the radar despite moving his career to Japanese rugby union.
Scott scored 19 tries in 49 games at Melbourne, giving Stuart a centre selection headache for the mission to break a premiership drought.
"[Leilua] has been one of the best centres in the game for a long time now and every time I've come up against him, it's been a massive challenge," Scott said.
"I'd rather be playing with him than trying to tackle him. It's all exciting for me, I'll soak it up and enjoy my time."
Scott toured the Raiders' new base in Braddon, which is expected to be complete by February and a meeting with Stuart about a change of scenery in the capital convinced him to make the move.
"I feel like I'm on a year six camp checking out Canberra, going to Questacon," Scott joked.
"It's different, but exciting as well. Melbourne and Canberra were probably the last teams I thought I'd play for, but football tosses up some mysterious things.
"I've always wanted to get a little bit closer back to Sydney ... I've always struggled a bit down in Melbourne with them being so far away.
"This is where my journey has taken me and I wouldn't change it for anything."
