In the document, provided to The Examiner, it was stated Mr Barnett spent $1155.29 on flights and $396.82 on accommodation and meals to travel to Melbourne for two days to host a state government function at the 2019 AFL grand final.
The actual cost of the trip was $400.09 and the RTI was reissued with the correct figures.

After Labor leader Rebecca called for the government to justify this $1500 expense on Thursday, the "error" was realised, the spokesperson said.
The spokesperson said a mistake within the Department of Premier and Cabinet when preparing the document resulted in two lines on the spreadsheet being accidentally merged.
In a letter to Ms White which accompanied the updated document the Premier's office said "the 17 September 2019 Canberra meeting was accidentally missed off the table, and the costs for the Canberra meeting were included incorrectly against the AFL function in Melbourne."
