The NatureArt Lab kids programs are being held at the M16 Artspace in Blaxland Crescent, Griiffith. The cost for each is $70.
The Lizards in Ink! workshop is 10am to 2pm on Tuesday, January 21. Kids aged nine to 17 have a hands-on encounter with live lizards, learn about other reptiles and draw a lizard in pen and ink.
Butterflies and Moths in Watercolour is on Wednedsay, January 22 from 10am to 2pm. Kids examine a wonderful insect collection, learn about sketching and watercolours and create their own illustration of their insect of choice.
Award-winning artist and NatureArt Lab's Kids program manager Josie Cosgrove will be instructing the class.
Both programs are suitable for students aged from nine to 17 years who are keen to develop their scientific observation skills and drawing capabilities. All materials and tuition is included.
