Tahlia Wilson's unbeaten 64 guided the NSW Breakers to a comprehensive seven-wicket win over the Meteors at Manuka Oval on Thursday.
A Carly Leeson half-century (56) steered the Meteors to 187 after they had slumped to 2-22 with Erica Kershaw and Anna Lanning failing to score.
It seemed as though things would go from bad to worse when Osborne retired on one not out with an upper leg injury.
Osborne would return to finish unbeaten on four against a Breakers bowling attack led by Rene Farrell (3-20 from 10 overs).
The ACT attack struggled to make any real inroads with the Breakers passing the target with 3-189 inside 33 overs.
The clash marked the fourth time in as many games the Meteors have been bowled out for 187 or less.

"Not enough runs again. The wicket was an absolute belter, 187 was probably 100 short," ACT coach David Drew said.
"We just didn't execute with the ball, that was really disappointing because that has been our strength over the past couple of games.
"We bowled too short and too wide, gave them a few chances. To be fair, they batted really well."
ACT will look to salvage some pride from their campaign in home games against Western Australia and Tasmania over the coming fortnight.
"It's an opportunity, we're going to mix it up a little bit," Drew said.
"Things haven't worked as well as we'd hoped, so these next couple of games are going to be an opportunity for other players to step up and bat and bowl in different positions.
"It's not panic stations, but it does give us an opportunity to give the younger players a chance."
