What's the best way to show someone you love them? With something sweet, of course.
After 10 years on the market as a purveyor of some of Australia's award-winning macarons and mouth-watering pastries, Canberra's Dream Cuisine is branching out into online orders under the name Reverie Patisserie, just in time for Valentine's Day.
"Reverie is a dream like state, the feeling you have when you have eaten a delicious treat, and the word 'un rêve' is the French for 'a dream', so it's a perfect fit," pastry chef and owner Owen Saddler says.
"Macarons are fragile delicate treats, filled with a creamy chocolate ganache, so it's hard to post them, which is why we are offering the delivery service.
"And don't forget everything is made from scratch with the finest Australian ingredients so they taste as good as they look.'
Deliveries will be for special events like Valentine's day otherwise you can click and collect at the Dream Cuisine stall at Capital Region Farmers Market on Saturday, and the Old Bus Deport Market on Sundays
'We hope our macarons and cakes can give people a bit of joy, a bit of love, in these dark times," Saddler says.
"Why not avoid the crush at your local café and order a box, take some sparkling and have your own celebration in your favourite park (weather permitting), or by candlelight at home for a romantic evening?"
Valentine's Day delivery orders can be made at reveriepatisserie.com.au, otherwise you can click and collect (or simply purchase what's available) at Capital Region Farmers Market on Saturdays, and the Old Bus Deport Market on Sundays.
