The $15 pass will give students year-round access to institutions including the National Gallery, National Museum, Australian War Memorial, National Portrait Gallery and the National Library.
While entry is generally free to the institutions, UC says the pass is worth more than $350 and gives holders access to exclusive events and discounted tickets.
Executive dean of the faculty of arts and design, professor Jason Bainbridge, said students would also be able to use facilities at the institutions including study areas.
"This is a wonderful opportunity for arts and design students to expand their cultural knowledge of Canberra, Australia and the world - and experience the benefit of living in Australia's capital city," he said.
National Gallery assistant director, curatorial and programs, Natasha Bullock said the gallery was proud to support the program.
"We hope that by making art and artists accessible we can inspire our future cultural leaders and enrich their learning experience," she said.
