ACT judoka took home a swag of medals including 10 gold, seven silver and nine bronze at Tuggeranong's Southern Cross Basketball Stadium this past weekend.
Judo ACT president Luis Val was concerned numbers would drop following the bushfires which have had a massive impact on surrounding regions.
"We were concerned about the number of competitors that would attend, thinking they might be down on previous years given the recent devastating bushfires around the country," Val said.
"But we had an increase, and that was fantastic. We had judoka competing from as young as eight years of age through to competitors in their 60s."
