Joshua Rod Tiffen and Kenan Lee Tiffen, both 42, were excused from appearing in the ACT Magistrates Court on Thursday, when lawyer Tom Taylor entered not guilty pleas on their behalf to all outstanding charges.
Joshua Tiffen, the police officer, is charged with seven counts of distributing intimate images without consent, two counts of intimate observations or capturing visual data, and one count of possessing child exploitation material.
Kenan Tiffen faces six charges of distributing intimate images without consent, and one of possessing child exploitation material.
Documents previously tendered to the court say a man calling himself "Matt" met a woman through the website Craigslist in 2016, and the pair began filming pornographic videos together.
"Matt", alleged to have been Joshua Tiffen, is accused of showing the woman videos that appeared to be of young children.
He allegedly told the woman he used the image of a young child to speak to other children, and that he would get young girls to "do what he wanted", which included undressing and touching themselves.
Joshua Tiffen is also alleged to have shown the woman a graphic image on his phone of a naked three- or four-year-old girl.
Court documents say a different woman met Kenan Tiffen through an online service called WeChat in 2018.
Kenan Tiffen is alleged to have discussed sexual fantasies with the woman and told her he "had a secret", before showing her about 50 child exploitation images and one video.
He told her, according to court documents, that he "had been into these images for a couple of years", and got them from "a work mate in Perth".
Kenan Tiffen also allegedly suggested to this woman that she babysit her neighbours' young daughter, and he would come over.
The court previously heard police found some 462 videos of young girls on storage devices during a search of the brothers' Forde home in May last year.
Police documents tendered in court allege that during the search, officers found secret cameras, believed to be transmitting material to a remote device, in bedrooms rented to female tenants.
There were also videos of an unknown woman who did not appear to be aware she was being filmed while having sex with Joshua Tiffen and showering, police have alleged.
The brothers remain on bail ahead of a hearing scheduled for August. Joshua Tiffen has been suspended from his job as a police officer.
