It's also the main thing coach Ricky Stuart wants to take out of the game.
George Williams (quad) was named in the Green Machine's 26-man squad for their pre-season trial against the Canterbury Bulldogs at Port Macquarie on Saturday.
Williams' first pre-season has been hampered by an extended international campaign for England last year and an injury since arriving in Canberra.
But he's set to be unleashed against the Bulldogs on Saturday.
While Williams has played with hooker Josh Hodgson for England, it will be his first game alongside Raiders five-eighth Jack Wighton.
Stuart has indicated a majority of his first 13 will get about 50-60 minutes against the Bulldogs, with only John Bateman (shoulder) unavailable due to injury.
Raiders recruit Curtis Scott was also named and will be allowed to play despite his ongoing court case for allegedly assaulting a police officer.
If NRL boss Todd Greenberg clears him to play for the Raiders in their round-one clash against the Gold Coast Titans then he's set to form a right-edge combination with Nick Cotric, meaning "Scottric" could replace "Leipana" after both Joey Leilua and Jordan Rapana left Canberra during the off-season.
Interestingly, Jack Murchie wasn't named in the squad after being linked to a possible move to the New Zealand Warriors earlier in the week.
"I just hope he finds a little bit of cohesion and combination with Jack," Stuart said of Williams.
"He's played a lot of football with Josh Hodgson from an international point of view, but he hasn't been able to do a lot of training with Jack.
"He's had a thigh injury and he's been out of the main sessions for about three or four weeks for the five or six weeks that we've had [with him since he arrived].
"So he hasn't had a lot of time with Jack Wighton, so getting 50-60 minutes on the weekend will be really important for both those boys. And then we'll just work into it as the season progresses."
