Because this 17-year-old's head is buried in school text books adding the finishing touches to those assignments she needed extensions for.
Ryan laughs she is pretty lucky St Clare's College understand her position - because she needed to take Friday off as well.
The ACT Brumbies flyhalf is bracing for the toughest test of her Super W campaign when she meets the NSW Waratahs at Western Sydney Stadium on Friday.
"Tah week" has been a long time coming for the teen sensation - she was on the Brumbies' radar last year but couldn't play because she was too young at the time.

Sure, being invited to Brumbies training was a thrill, sure, but knowing she had to wait another year to lace up the boots in a game was "pretty frustrating".
Now Ryan is determined to prove it was worth the wait as she steps outside the halls of St Clare's College for a Super W grudge match.
"I knew I had a lot of years ahead of me to play in the Super W," Ryan said.
"This year is probably the best year to be a part of it. It's just starting to take off, we're getting the broadcast coverage we want and the attention we want, so it's an amazing year to be a part of it.
"Especially after the sevens success, 15-a-side is really kicking off and coming back into the mix for women.
"It's becoming such a massive thing and so many young girls want to start playing, so being a role model for them is a massive thing for me."
Brumbies coach Adam Butt has made two changes to his side for a clash with the two-time champions with Ema Masi slotting into the back-row in place of Rebecca Smyth (broken nose).
Zali Waihape-Andrews shifts from the second row to blindside flanker, while Emily Sogal returns to the second row. Scrumhalf Phoebe Loughhead returns to the bench with Butt opting for a 5-3 split on the pine.
Steering the ship will be one of the side's most inexperienced players in Ryan, who has traded the classroom in the hope of piecing together a rugby masterclass.
"It is pretty bizarre, and playing in the position I am, I know I have a massive role to play," Ryan said.
"I haven't played a lot of 15-a-side, so coming straight into Super W for the first two games has been pretty tough.
"The trial games did set me up a bit to know my role and know how to play, but the first two games were very challenging. We did get the wins so it's pretty exciting.
"We've had a very good start, coming off two wins so we're on a high.
"But we're coming into this weekend knowing it is going to be a challenge.
"We're just going to stick to our structure, play our game, be aggressive, and hopefully get the rewards."
