A newspaper ad then described the band as "the zany, wild, kinky AC-DC".
You can relive that epic time with The AC/DC Story, a full theatrical production honouring the legendary Aussie band, again at the Harmonie German Club in Narrabundah, starting at 7pm on Friday.
A live band is completed by a narrated biography of the band, across both the Bon Scott and Brian Johnson eras, along with video screens showing footage, photos and interviews with band members as well as cannons , bells and, of course, bagpipes.
Tickets are via eventbrite.
