Between 7.30 and 8.30am on Saturday, 14 March, a white Holden Colorado was allegedly taken from Conder.
About 8.32am yesterday police on patrol in Box Hill Avenue, Conder saw the Colorado drive from the road onto a footpath, where it collided with a light pole.
Three young people attempted to flee from the vehicle. They were apprehended a short time later in a nearby unit complex and taken to Tuggeranong Police Station.
ACT Policing will allege that all three youths were involved in stealing the vehicle.
The three teenage boys, two aged 14 and one aged 15, will be summonsed to appear before court. One will face charges of driving a motor vehicle without consent and being an unlicenced driver. The other two will appear on charges of riding in a motor vehicle without consent.
