That's despite facing the prospect of being forced into a Queensland quarantine station.

Cotric is off contract at the end of the season, but is closing in on a contract extension with the Green Machine.

Raiders coach Ricky Stuart said they would continue with negotiations as normal.

They've already locked down Jack Wighton and Jarrod Croker long term, with several other players now on their to-do list - including Cotric and Sia Soliola.

Cotric started the season in fine form and looks to have formed a dangerous combination on the right edge with Raiders recruit Curtis Scott.

They also looked solid defensively.

"Contract negotiations with Nick are definitely still on and we're getting through that," Stuart said.

There's been an offer from a resort in Calliope - a Queensland town about halfway between Brisbane and Townsville - to relocate all 16 clubs there to bunker down and play all their games while riding out the pandemic.

Nothing's been confirmed yet with the Raiders travelling to the Gold Coast on Saturday to play the New Zealand Warriors and then they expect to host St George Illawarra at Canberra Stadium next Thursday.

Stuart said they would agree to whatever the NRL decided, including heading north to try to escape the coronavirus.

"There's all varying types of discussion and we'll fully support the NRL's decision to keep playing and adhere to what we need to do," he said.

"We've been advised by medical experts that we're at no greater risk of contracting the virus by playing."

Barring a late injury, Stuart will stick with the same 17 that were too strong for the Gold Coast Titans on the weekend.

He has prop Ryan Sutton available again after a one-game suspension, but he's unlikely to play.

With the cancellation of the NSW Cup on Wednesday, he's unlikely to play at all.

No one outside the game-day 17 will have anywhere to press their claims for a promotion. There won't be any match-hardened players to call on if there's an injury or a suspension.

Stuart said those players would continue to train and might have to do a bit of extra fitness work to account for their lack of game time.

"It only stops our players outside our 17 playing games. They're still isolated here in our facility, training with the NRL [side] and players will be called upon with unavailability of players during the early part of the season," he said.

"They're going to be needed at some stage. You don't hope for injury, but we've got to make sure they're ready when there's a knock on their door for them to play in the NRL.

"They'll be training with us every day. They're still involved in our squad. It's business as usual with them ... they'll probably just be doing a little bit more load than the guys playing.

"The only difference is they won't be playing on weekends. They'll be fresh, they'll be healthy for when it's their opportunity to play first grade."
