While we are no longer able to dine in there are more dining at home options than ever before.
And through this time it's more important than ever to support Canberra's food and wine scene.
Ways to get your foodie fix
Pilot, Ainslie, takeaway, delivery, pickles and preserves ... Pilot presents ideas as they come to them. The menu will shift gears for a little while, with more accessible home-style food. Keep an eye on their social media.
Agostini's, Kingston, has a great takeaway menu, from antipasti, to housemade pastas, salads, and trademark pizzas, there's even some delicious cannoli for dessert. Order at 61780048 or online, for pick up at East Hotel or delivery to the inner south. UberEats and Deliveroo also available. Also offering a range of beer, wine and soft drinks as takeaway.
Ostani, Barton, is now doing takeaway all day with options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Start the day with an egg and bacon roll and finish with white miso glazed salmon. Meating Room, Weston, is open from 4-9pm for takeaway orders only. Pick up, or delivery through Menulog and Deliveroo. Also doing takeaway bottled alcohol.
The District, Crace, is doing takeaway and UberEats, Monday to Friday, from 11am to 9pm, and weekends from 10am to 9pm. New blackboard specials daily also available for takeaway.
Dinner Rush, Narrabundah, has tasty, nutritious homestyle food available to takeaway, from ready-made dinners to sandwiches, cake and coffee. Might be ordering some chicken, honey and mustard sausage rolls ourselves.
Alara's Turkish Grill House, Dickson, is offering a range of delicious Turkish food for takeaway and home/office deliveries between 11am and 9pm.
La Rustica, Kingston, will be open from Wednesday to Saturday from 5.30-9pm for takeaway, pick up and delivery. Menu online and they will deliver food, wine and beer to nearby suburbs.
Kiosk, Kingston, will be offering as much of their menu as possible for takeaway and pick-up. Every day around lunch time the takeaway menu will be posted on Kiosk's Instagram story for people to check out.
