The walk accumulated an estimated 1500 blisters and raised at least $15,000 for the Narrabundah Marymead Children's Centre.
The tired, but very happy, organiser, Sister Martian, said that the event went fantastically.
The funds raised would go towards storage and sewing rooms and possibly a bus to transport the children.
Among the participants were Parliament's Sergeant-At-Arms, Mr Alan Browning, a seven-year-old boy, a dog and 170 pupils of Campbell High School.
Participants and helpers, including more than 100 Apex Club volunteer members, gathered at Marymead for an open-air barbecue and dance.
Still located in Narrabundah, Marymead is a community-based not-for-profit organisation. It provides a range of high-quality, innovative support services to children, young people and their families.
