Surviving the Coronapocalypse provides advice aimed at women for maintaining good mental health during COVID-19.
The blog covers five areas: general well-being at home, working from home, my family is home, I'm feeling lonely, and I'm feeling anxious.
Ms Thomas says there are four key areas people should focus on when maintaining mental health during COVID-19
"[Firstly] connection with other people, it is so important that we are connecting with people at this time."
"A sense of achievement. It is so important make sure we get that sense of "oh I can do this' or 'I can achieve things in my life' no matter how small that is, " she said.
"Relaxation, we need to make sure we are getting some relaxation."
"[Finally] exercise, we know how important exercise is for mental health, so it's important that we are still getting that," she said.
Ms Thomas also recommends maintaining your vitamin D intake through getting enough sunlight.
"We have to treat ourselves like we are a plant," she said.
"Plants need water, they need nutrition and they need sunshine."
Ms Thomas recommends creating a schedule and following a routine during COVID-19 to create a sense of normalcy.
"A good routine right now will actually save you. It will be the thing that will make you get through this time," she said.
"Keeping your sleep on track is so important any time for mental health but particularly at the moment.
"You have got to try to get yourself up in the morning, get out and get some sunshine.
"That will kick start your day and kick start your circadian rhythm which will mean you will get to sleep properly in the evening.
"At the moment you need a sense of normalcy and a sense of pride," she said.
