The total number of people who tested positive for coronavirus in the ACT remains at 106, with 103 cases now recovered and released from self-isolation.
Three people have died from coronavirus in Canberra, while more than 9000 people have returned negative tests.
Restrictions on gatherings inside the home have been relaxed to allow one household to visit another in the ACT, as long as there are no other visitors present.
Where visitors do not come from the same household, the limit on visitors remains at two people.
Restrictions on travel in NSW have also been eased.
Two adults can leave the ACT with their children to visit friends and family in NSW, for the purposes of providing care and support.
Acting ACT Chief Health Officer Dr Vanessa Johnston said any travel outside of the Canberra region into NSW should be very carefully considered and in line with NSW regulations.
Following an announcement from Chief Minister Andrew Barr on Friday, Canberrans can now leave their households for non-essential shopping.
Stores must put in place measures to ensure staff and customers maintain physical distancing by keeping 1.5 metres between themselves and other people, and all stores must adhere the one person per four square metre rule.

Dr Johnston has reiterated that now is not the time to be complacent.
"It's important to remember that this is not over," Dr Johnston said.
"While the ACT is in a good position to continue the fight against COVID-19, people need to remember not to become complacent.
"Now is the time to continue to build upon the good work we've done so far. We must maintain physical distancing and good hygiene practices at all times, even as some restrictions are easing," Dr Johnston said.
"Canberra is part of the broader Australian community and while there are currently no known active cases of COVID-19 within the ACT, we are not isolated and need to remain vigilant. We need to work together and remain focussed, not only protecting ourselves and our families, but those in our community who are the most vulnerable.
"Testing as many people as possible is vitally important for us to maintain our strong position and it will help us in providing the most accurate representation of COVID-19 in the ACT."
Canberrans are encouraged to be tested if they have flu like symptoms by visiting one of the testing facilities including at EPIC, the walk-in clinic at Weston Creek, or by contacting their general practitioner.
