This is why when Sianne Fitzsimons and Tegan Williams had a chance to say thank you, they jumped at the chance.
The co-owners of The Lab Skincare Clinic were approached by skincare company DMK to help surprise the nurses at Queanbeyan District Hospital with a free skincare gift pack.
"DMK was contacted by one of the midwives saying that all of the nurses have been working over time and working crazy hours amidst this COVID-19 crisis," Fitzsimons says.
"So DMK thought this was a great chance to give back and say thank you to all the nurses, and they contacted us and we were obviously over the moon to get on board especially since most of us live in Queanbeyan and the gifts were for nurses at Queanbeyan hospital."
Williams and one of The Lab's skincare specialists Hannah Corcoran took some time out on Tuesday to make the delivery of DMK skincare products.
The hospital's nurses were also given vouchers for a LED light treatment that can be used at The Lab's clinic in Griffith when it reopens its doors.

"Our priorities as a business are all about mental health and self-care is definitely a hot topic right now," Fitzsimons says.
"It's really encouraging to see that people are seeing the importance of taking care of yourself.
"Nurses all day, every day are taking care of other people so this is a chance to encourage them to take a little time for themselves.
"Even just taking small things like skincare, turning them into rituals and really taking a moment to take care of themselves is important."
The gesture has extra special meaning as both of The Lab's owners are daughters of nurses. It's the reason Fitzsimons and Williams originally met as children.
"Obviously, our heart goes out to everyone on the front line at this time," Fitzsimons says.
"The hard-working nurses however are especially close to our hearts as both our mothers were nurses."
Social distancing restrictions has meant that The Lab has temporarily closed its doors and has ceased all operations, except for online orders.
Fitzsimons says when the business can resume normal operations they're hoping to do something to say thank you to all front-line workers.
"A lot of our clients are nurses as well. We definitely see the toll it takes on them," Fitzsimons says.
"Nurses are crazy hard-working. They're an amazing breed of human and we have a lot of love and respect for them.
"Not only from our own personal perspective but what we see our clients go through as well."
