He was hoping nothing would tarnish the flying start to the three-year-old filly's racing career.

But he need not have worried. After all, Tejori has reason to prove she's on the path to something special.

The Olive-trained filly claimed her third win from four starts on Saturday, beating Matthew Dunn's Ready to Humble by a narrow 0.8 lengths in the Highway Handicap (1200 metres).

"I'm absolutely thrilled, she's a nice filly and has now won three from four now," Olive said.

"I was a bit nervous because I thought she could win and was hoping nothing would go wrong.

"It was a strong win in the end, I know she didn't win by a big margin but she won well. Not having the owners there to share it with was pretty lonely, but what a thrill that was."

It marks her second-straight win on the trot after winning 1000 metre sprint at Thoroughbred Park last month.

She ran a faster time than the Federal race over the same distance that meet, knocking 0.27 seconds off winner Whycatchim.

Olive will wait to see how Tejori recovers next week before deciding where to send her next. Another Highway Handicap is likely on the cards before the Canberra trainer steps her up in grade.

"We'll see how she pulls up next week and find the next step for her," Olive said.

"I'll probably look for another Highway, but she'll definitely be going back to Sydney for her next start.

"We'll find a race where she's a chance to win again. I think she's got a nice future and could end up racing in some nice races down the track."

Tejori's win backed up a successful day for Olive's stable at Wednesday's meet in Canberra, with Larmour and Temoin Chaud claiming their two entered races.

Fellow Canberra trainer Matthew Dale also had horses running at Royal Randwick on Saturday.

Super Star Bob fell back to finish 10^th in the benchmark 78 (1200 metres), while Dark Eyes ran sixth the following race.
