Police have thanked the public for its help in locating a missing man this weekend.

The man was last seen at his home in Farrer about 6pm on Friday night. Police called for public assistance to locate him at about 2pm on Saturday, saying there were serious concerns for his welfare.
About half an hour later he was reported to have been found "safe and well".
