Officials across all codes are holding out hope crowds will be able to return this season and the AFL has left the door ajar for a return to Manuka Oval if fans are allowed through the gates.
The GWS Giants have opened discussions with the ACT government about the prospect of playing at Manuka Oval this season. The AFL will return on June 11 and the decision to release the fixture in blocks means officials remain flexible on venues in the hope fans are allowed to filter back into games.
For now the Canberra Raiders look set to play their NRL home games in Campbelltown, so it's there rather than at home Josh Hodgson will look to wreak havoc around the ruck.
Soon enough they will be back at Canberra Stadium, right where Muay Thai fighter Josh Tonna wants a world championship showdown that could launch him into stardom.
