Peter Patrech has just been named Domino's top "delivery expert" - making more than 70,000 safe deliveries to Belconnen locals over the past 16 years.
At 57-years-old, Peter said he was proud to be delivering safe, hot meals to locals in the Belconnen community during the challenging time of the coronavirus pandemic
" I know these streets like the back of my hand," he said, adding he enjoyed offering customers a "slice of normalcy" during this time.
Domino's Belconnen franchisee David Hutchison said he wasn't surprised Peter had been named Australia's top delivery man.
"Peter is dedicated to providing customers the best possible experience, continually going above and beyond to deliver more than just a safe, hot meal," he said.
Domino's Belconnen has also donated more than 70 pizzas to frontline workers in the community, including those working at Calvary Hospital.
Mr Hutchison said the team sincerely appreciated all the hard work the doctors, nurses and medical staff at Calvary Hospital had been doing during the pandemic.
