NSW police said officers stopped a white Holden Commodore on Cameron Road, Queanbeyan, about 5pm on Thursday as part of a two-month investigation. Police said they seized methylamphetamine and cash from the car.
During a further search at a home in Queanbeyan, they said they found methylamphetamine, cannabis, GHB, fireworks and a rifle.
The car driver, a 60-year-old man, was charged with supply of a prohibited drug and possession of prohibited drugs. His application for bail was denied, and he was expected to face Queanbeyan local court on Friday.
The passenger, a 30-year-old woman, was charged with possession of prohibited drugs. She was granted conditional bail and was expected to appear at Queanbeyan local court on July 17.
Police said the arrests were part of a larger investigation into prohibited drugs.
