Competition officials announced plans to relaunch the season on Saturday, August 1, committing to 14 regular rounds and a three-week finals series.
The fixture is still being finalised as the availability of playing venues will depend on travel restrictions and whether crowds can attend.
Giants Netball hope to bring a Super Netball match to Canberra when the competition returns, but those plans will likely fall through if the league resumes behind closed doors.
But Super Netball could benefit from starting its season later than other codes and avoid playing in empty stadiums, with lockdown restrictions starting to ease across the country.
Super Netball boss Chris Symington says the August restart gives the competition the best opportunity to be played in full.
"We're thrilled that a season start date has been locked away, now all our stakeholders have a date to work towards and fans can get excited for the season," Symington said.
"Our guiding principles throughout this process have never changed, those being the health and wellbeing of the community alongside the financial viability of our sport.
"There has been a collective commitment to those principles from the whole system including players, teams, partners and broadcasters, and we will look to continue that approach as we look to get our season underway."
Players have been given the green light to resume group training from June 1 and will continue to be paid in line of their current agreement of 12 hours per week.
Training is expected to ramp up to a full pre-season later that month, with players returning to their normal schedule of 23 hours per week.
Netball Australia and Netball New Zealand have committed to playing the annual Constellation Cup series at the end of the year, following the completion of the domestic leagues.
The Quad Series, scheduled to be played between Australia, New Zealand, England and South Africa in September, has been cancelled due to domestic and international restrictions.
