60 drivers were found driving an unregistered vehicles and 40 drivers were exceeding the speed limit, including six who were driving 30km/h over the speed limit.
During the Queen's Birthday long weekend ACT police was issuing double demerit points for drivers breaking the rules.
"Undoubtedly some drivers will have their licences suspended as a result of their poor driving during the long weekend as a result of double demerits, however they only have themselves to blame," Officer in Charge of Road Policing, Detective Inspector Marcus Boorman said.
"We were fortunate over the weekend not to experience any serious collisions or incidents on our roads."
Despite the poor behaviour of some motorists, ACT police said they were reasonably happy with the majority of drivers over the weekend.
