Young will make his return from an eight-game suspension dating back to round 25 last year when the Raiders meet the Manly Sea Eagles at Campbelltown Stadium on Sunday.
Raiders back-rower Joe Tapine has backed Young to shine in his comeback from a suspension for an eye-gouge, adamant the youngster will be able to contain his enthusiasm and make an impact where it counts.
"Stick will probably [have a chat to him] ... but he'll be alright I reckon," Tapine said.

"Huddo brings a lot of energy, I'm looking forward to having him back on and seeing what he brings to the team. He's been out for a while and he has had little niggling injuries as well, so I'm really looking forward to seeing him play."
Young is one of four forwards on Canberra's bench alongside Ryan Sutton, Emre Guler and Siliva Havili, while Corey Horsburgh has returned from illness to rejoin the starting side at lock.
Stuart has opted for size on his interchange rotation which sees winger Bailey Simonsson shuffle back onto the extended bench, with Jordan Rapana holding his place on the left wing outside Jarrod Croker.
Rapana is confident Simonsson can soon force his way into the 17 again while backing Stuart's decision to select four forwards in the hope they help set the tone against Manly's pack.
"Bailey is a humble champion young kid. I know the person that he is. He's got the mentality to always put the team first," Rapana said.
"Obviously Sticky has gone with the four forwards this week and against a strong Manly forward pack, it's something we need.
"It's massive. We saw against Newcastle where we didn't [set the tone in the middle], and once we don't smash their middles and go through their middle third, we seem to get dominated.
"Manly are a team that are very similar to them, they've got a big forward pack. We have to make sure we're matching them and we start strong."
