The GWS Giants have called on Canberra's Tom Green to help revive their AFL campaign and avoid a third successive defeat.
Green has been named on the Giants' interchange for Friday's clash with the Collingwood Magpies at Sydney Showground.
It ends a 96-day wait between matches for No.10 Draft pick Green, who made his senior debut before the coronavirus shutdown in round one.
He's one of four changes coach Leon Cameron has made following back-to-back defeats to North Melbourne and the Western Bulldogs, with Shane Mumford, Josh Kelly and Toby Greene returning to the starting side.
Nineteen-year-old Green will be tested against some of the best midfielders in the competition like Scott Pendlebury and Adam Treloar (if fit to play), but Cameron has confidence in the Giants draftee to compete.
"He gets an opportunity inside and we need to make sure our contested ball is intact by the end of the night," Cameron said.
"He's been in-form, he's trained really well and has a healthy appetite to compete.
"We know we're coming up against some big mids and some quality mids, every which way you look at it, and this is a great opportunity for young Tom."

Lachlan Whitfield and Brent Daniels both passed their concussion tests, while ruckman Mumford will have his first start of the season.
The 33-year-old will rub shoulders with All-Australian Brodie Grundy, who dominated with 25 disposals and 72 hitouts in last year's preliminary final.
"We know it's a huge challenge against Grundy. He's such a good player, he plays 100 per cent of the game basically but Mummy's strength is that he hunts after the footy," Cameron said.
"Everyone's going to have their different strengths and that's what we feel as though Mummy can provide this weekend.
"We need to hunt after the footy, we've lost a little bit of that hunt and we need to be prepared for that.
"It's a huge challenge when you come up against these great ruckman, Mummy looks forward to those challenges. He'll need lots of help at ground level and he'll need lots of support as well."
The Giants will be out to rectify their slow start to the 2020 season, while the undefeated Magpies have their sights set on preliminary final revenge.
Collingwood sit second on the AFL ladder with two wins and a draw, coming off a 44-point victory over St. Kilda.
"There'll be lots of eyes watching this game and again, we need to get back to playing a good brand of footy," Cameron said.
"Collingwood are clearly in rhythm and they've hit the ground running since the start up and we've been the opposite. The urgency stakes lift and we're looking forward to a good battle."
