These charges include speeding 45 km/h over the speed limit, turning right during a red arrow, and drink and drug driving.
Late on Saturday night ACT police detected the man driving at 177 km/h in an 80 km/h zone on Kingsford Smith Drive in Higgins.
Police allege the suspect turned left on Ginninderra Drive and continued to travel over the speed limit.
They allege he turned right during a red arrow at the intersection of Ginninderra Drive and Tillyard Drive, Flynn.
At a drug and alcohol testing van, the driver turned a positive screen.
He was then taken to the City Police Station and issues with an immediate suspension notice.
