Victoria's outbreak is a lesson in humility

Dramatic confirmation that terms like spike, outbreak and lockdown will remain part of our daily vocabulary for quite some time emerged at the weekend when the Victorian government imposed a "hard lockdown" on a number of public housing towers in inner Melbourne. Within days, the whole metropolitan areas was back on stage three restrictions.
