That Poetry Zoom
July 20: Australian Poetry Anthology Volume 8 will be launched on Zoom and live-streamed to Australian Poetry's Facebook page (facebook.com/AusPoetry). This annual anthology, produced by the national peak body Australian Poetry, is focusing on the ACT for the first time with about one-sixth of the poets from the ACT region.The book is guest edited by Sara Saleh (NSW) and Melinda Smith (ACT), who will jointly MC the launch event. The event will feature readings from four ACT poets (Judith Nangala Crispin, Anita Patel, Isi Unikowski, Merlinda Bobis) and four poets from across Australia. 6.30pm for 7pm, Zoom access on the night.

July 21: Author Kate Grenville's first novel in nearly a decade, A Room Made of Leaves, will be launched in an online event. Grenville will be in conversation with historian Professor Clare Wright about the book, in which Elizabeth Macarthur - wife of wool baron John Macarthur, has written a shockingly frank secret memoir.
