2. Birds of Paradise watercolour workshop: The Art Project is running an online watercolour workshop from 10 am, where participants will create work based on the Australian native birds of paradise. The event will run for 3-4 hours, and will include a step to step guide, a Q&A session, as well as individual feedback. 3. Fluid Art: Free In Spirit is running a fluid art session on Saturday July 18 from 2 to 3.30pm. Fluid art is created by pouring acrylic paint over a canvas or object to create mesmerising abstract images. This session will teach artists how to use this technique to create a beach landscape. This event is recommended for people who have had experience with paint pouring, and is open to people aged 8 and older. 4. Blue Cockatoo: The Boardwalk Bar and Nightclub and Life With Paint Canberra have joined forces to run two painting sessions on Sunday July 19, one at 3pm and another beginning at 6pm. These sessions will involve participants creating pieces inspired by a selected painting of a blue cockatoo. This event is acceptable for beginner artists. 5. Nature Art Lab: Nature Art Lab is beginning a number of courses and workshops for people who are serious about getting into the habit of nature-inspired art. This includes drawing for beginners, painting with watercolour, for both intermediate and beginners, Drawing Fungi with Ink and An Introduction to Nature Journaling.
