BentSpoke is throwing open the brewery doors on July 25-26 for Winter Feast at the Cannery, making the most of the 1000sqm outdoor space at the Mitchell cannery.
BentSpoke co-founder and head brewer Richard Watkins said the team was looking forward to taking advantage of the large outdoor space to put on a great event.
"Fire pits, craft beer, live music and great food are the perfect match for the clean and crisp full-bodied Canberra winters," he said.
The feature of the weekend will be the container bar pouring 12 BentSpoke tap beers, including a great line up of IPAs, winter dark beers, "Hot off the Press" warmed spiced cider and selected local wines.
To accompany the fire pits, live music, and beers, Black Bear BBQ will keep the crowds fed with classic low and slow smokehouse barbecue such as brisket boxes, beef short rib and maryland chicken. They will also have vegetarian options available.
First release local live music will be back to back across all sessions featuring Bent Folk Saturday, and Country Music Sunday. To celebrate Indie Beer Day on the July 25 there will also be free brewery tours, roller racing and specialty beers.
The event is an outdoor, seated event which will follow ACT COVID guidelines.
