There's nothing about a Grease Monkey burger that's the pits but that's where you can find the popular burger truck for a few months while they scout for a more permanent setting.

The Pits is located off Hindmarsh Drive, just behind John McGrath Ford and the venue will offer seating, heating, music and a couple of arcade games for you to smash a burger by.
Grease Monkey has been blown away by the support at its Braddon and Gungahlin venues during COVID-19 restrictions and they are now looking to spread some Greasy love a little further south.

"We're really lucky to have been given access to such a central spot in Phillip," said Josh Holland, Grease Monkey's group operations manager.
"It's clear from our previous truck locations in Woden that there's a demand for Greasy food south of the city and this will be a great place holder until we can find our forever home."
He said it was near impossible for food trucks to trade in the ACT unless they were on private property, so they were extremely grateful to find the spot in Phillip.
"Our ultimate goal is to bring a bit of the Braddon experience to Woden. While our set up in Phillip is temporary, we're constantly scouting for sites around this area that can accommodate everything that we want to do," he said.

"Think half court basketball court, open air tables and we're even talking about a drive-in movie experience. It'll be a work in progress but we're really excited to be kicking things off in Phillip as we continue that search."
